Prohibited items
Handoff items are inspected unsealed at handoff, and travelers agree not to carry prohibited items. Keep everyone safe and legal.
Never send or carry
- Cash, cheques, gift cards or anything money-equivalent
- Illegal drugs, medicines that need a prescription, or controlled substances
- Weapons, ammunition, or anything designed to cause harm
- Flammable, pressurised, or hazardous materials (aerosols, lighters, batteries loose in a bag)
- Perishable, homemade, fresh, or meat food (factory-sealed packaged food is fine)
- Live animals or plants
- Counterfeit goods or anything you don't have the right to send
- Anything a sealed/opaque package hides — items are inspected unsealed at handoff
